WHO WE ARE:

At Fireplace Surgeon, we have well over 30 years of experience.  Our founder started out as a general laborer in the propane industry (YES Hank, propane and propane accessories!).  That continued into propane installations and service, then into service & installation of gas fired appliances.  

Over the next many years, there was chimney sweeping; chimney repair & maintenance; gas & wood appliance sales, service, & installation;  wholesale fireplace sales; and many other duties and experiences gained within the chimney & fireplace industries.  Over those years, one of the biggest things learned was the need for gas hearth product repair technicians!  Large companies - especially retail shops -  don't like the service side of the hearth industry, they focus more on "sales".  Many chimney sweeps don't like working on gas products.  HVAC companies and plumbers don't generally like fireplaces much either.  Or they don't take the time to learn about fireplaces (but unfortunately sometimes still work on them!).  

Where does that leave you, the gas fireplace owner?  Generally, without a quality technician.  Not any more!  Our main business is maintenance, repair, and service of gas burning hearth appliances - it's what we do!  Yes, we'll also do some sales of new products, should the need arise.  We also do a little bit of chimney work - minor repair, maintenance, chimney caps, and the like.  But our #1 focus is gas hearth products!
